14 Jul 2010 in National Assembly:
Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, thank you for giving me this opportunity to also contribute to this very important Report. First, let me thank the Chairman of the Committee and its Members for developing this very timely Report. Secondly, I wish to note that we cannot improve the quality of life in this nation unless the required services by wananchi are given timely. Denial of supply of these drugs to Government Ministries is tantamount to reducing the life expectancy of Kenyans. It is, therefore, important that any Government department or unit should perform its functions as expected. If you look at ...

care of our people. That is an issue that ought to have been addressed long time ago. I also wish to note that there are two bodies that were meant to supply the drugs; that is, Dol International and Associated Companies. They were not able to comply with the terms given. Secondly, I would like the Minister to clarify what measures they have taken to make sure that trial judges in this court are really secure, considering that the real threat has been directed by these groups towards our nation.

7 Jul 2010 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like to remind the Assistant Minister that recently, some donors stopped funding some programmes in the education sector because of the corruption in that sector. What efforts, systematic arrangements or plans has the Ministry put in place to eradicate corruption completely in our Government system?

7 Jul 2010 in National Assembly:
Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am Mr. David Njuguna, the Member of Parliament for Lari and not Mr. Mwangi of Kiharu Constituency. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I do acknowledge the very satisfactory reply that has been given by the Assistant Minister on the utilization of these funds that are to be released. However, my concern would be to ask him to indicate to this House the very clear steps the Ministry is taking with the CoE to make sure that these funds go to all the corners of this nation to make sure that the debts are cleared and the ...
