  • 12 Sep 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Assistant Minister says the Ministry has earmarked Kshs200 million for the purchase and repair of outdated equipment that they have. There is a KARI sub-station in my district. You will find quite a number of tractors and equipment which are outdated. Is it not worthwhile for the Ministry to buy new machines and do an audit of the KARI sub-stations to find out what they usually do because most of the staff there, are very idle? view
