He was told that the Ministry was planning to assist the people of South Mugirango to have a sugar factory at Nyangwesa. The people of South Mugirango normally take their sugar-cane to SONY Sugar Company. The Government has promised us that SONY Sugar Company will be expanded. How far have they gone with the expansion of SONY Sugar Company to assist the people of South Mugirango to have their sugar-cane crashed there instead of having it go to waste? view

However, when it is received by councils, wananchi are not involved in deciding which projects should be given priority using the money. Could the Assistant Minister instruct the local authorities, through their councillors, to consult wananchi before any projects are carried out using the money? The Ministry of Roads and Public Works started a system of controlling the road tonnage of commercial vehicles.
