  • 26 Mar 2014 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, would I be in order to request the Chair to give communication with regard to a convention in which Senators have been invited to Mombasa in the coming week. The invitation is individual to each Member, although the list has all of us, but it does not seem to include or involve the administration of the Senate. Perhaps the Chair could give a communication as to how this is to be handled with regard to, maybe, attendance, facilitation, movement and also the mode of engagement in it. view

I hope that he will take it up further and maybe follow up with the relevant department and come up with a paper which can force the Executive to do the policy that he wants. Muthama lives in Nairobi now but his identity card does not read Nairobi - I challenge him to come here and show me - Chances are it says Machakos. What I am saying here is that many people who are in a class which Sen. (Prof.) Lesan has in mind would have been working away from where they come from which is identified through the identity card.
