The fact that we may not face what we have faced in the past in terms of identifying the actual projects – you know there are many white elephant projects that existed because people at the lower levels were not involved – thus bringing in the element of participation. Mr. Temporary Chairman, Sir, I support the amendment mainly because it will help us really reduce the whole conflict we have experienced in the past; and it makes a clear distinction between the MPs and the MCAs elected at ward level. I think it will create some order in terms of ensuring that we have harmony between the various levels of representation. Thank you very much, Mr. Temporary Chairman, Sir.

Mr. Speaker, Sir, I am close to Sen. Khalwale in many ways; as a colleague and also a member of the Amani Alliance; we keep on sharing a lot of information. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I share what Sen. Murkomen has put forward; that we could actually discuss the Bill, because there are not many amendments on it. So, I would plead that we attempt to handle both Bills tomorrow, instead of pushing it to Tuesday.

My point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir, is that while I welcome the thoughts of the Senate Majority Leader, I would want to state that this House has worked harmoniously, irrespective of party or affiliate position, especially on matters of national importance. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to say that it will add value because it will stop speculation, rifts between communities and build confidence in terms of boosting security. There will be absolutely no harm; even if you do not share the information with the whole House, for instance, and just share it with the two Senators as directed. It will really help to reduce tension between the communities because many a times, people complain of an additional strength or favor from one particular Government source. So, it will really help and add value---

Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thought my contributions were adding a little value on the efforts that the Chairperson is going to make. I was not asking a question as such with regards to arming more people. I was talking about providing information to both parties to help build confidence amongst the communities in terms of---
