  • 20 Sep 2018 in Senate: As their representative, most of the people asked me whether I would voice their concerns in Parliament. It would be wrong if I do not voice their concerns in this House and assume that nothing is happening. The poor people and Wanjiku out there are really suffering because of the high taxation. It is my duty to voice their concerns and protect them because I was elected to represent them. You can read the mood of this country. You can even hear some voices outside there of people who are demonstrating on the streets of Nairobi because of high taxation. ... view

The people living in rural areas are locked away from the other parts of Kenya, just because their roads are impassable. Therefore, it is time to come up with a law that will ensure that the people who live in remote areas are connected to other parts of Kenya. The poor performance by schools in my area is mainly contributed ... view

Therefore, it is important that students from different schools come to visit the Senate to see for themselves. I welcome them and tell them that they are the future Governors, Senators and Members of the National Assembly. We may also have the future ... view
