It is saying that we want to go back to the anarchical behavior of members within parties. But also fundamentally, there has been civic education in the country to Kenyans on what these provisions of the Constitution and what the Political Parties and Elections Acts means. It is true that the works on the road are going on, but they did not commence in February. They commenced much later, perhaps, towards the end of March. But even as they proceed, could the Assistant Minister ensure that the areas that will be covered towards November, 2013 are also made passable as we await the completion date? I also sympathize with the people of Ijara, Tana River and other parts of the country. But I am also disappointed with the hon. Members because they do not see the need for supporting people from Ndaragwa. They should also make a point of travelling across this country and I invite them to come to Ndaragwa. • 20 Jun 2012 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I was just going to propose that the Attorney-General deals with specific Acts as we come across them, instead of a blanket withdrawal. He should now deal with the Pyrethrum Act. If he is withdrawing that and we are in concurrence, as a House, then we move on. view

• 7 Jun 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, it is true that the Question was referred to the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives, but the aspects referred to that Committee related to the sustainability of the PBK. As to whether farmers in Nyandarua County have been paid, I think that is an answer the Assistant Minister ought to have given us straightaway because it is a question of pending payments that relate to 2008/2009. view
