• 28 Nov 2019 in Senate: Mr. Speaker Sir, if you come to Laikipia, the price of maize is Kshs800. This amount is less than what the farmer used to grow this maize. The same applies to coffee and tea. Kenyans are suffering. We are asking the committee that will be responsible to look into these details so that we can give a lasting solution. The Senator for Kirinyaga was quick to say that we do not want temporary measures; we want permanent measures to be taken.
