• 6 Jun 2023 in Senate: THAT the affected teachers have been writing to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) by themselves and through the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) to stop the deductions without success. THAT in some instances, TSC stopped the deductions for a while that were later affected again. THAT teachers have a right not to be economically exploited by their employer in collaboration with the Kenya Women Teachers Association (KEWOTA).
