  • 9 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: It is not up to the Mover of the Bill to decide on the business of the House but the Chair. view
  • 9 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, Sen. Hassan, Sen. Abdirahman and others here want to break for Ramadhan, and we have to respect that. Let us go into voting. view
  • 4 Jun 2014 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I just want to be in order--- view
  • 4 Jun 2014 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, it is just a small bit of it. Mr. Speaker, Sir, from the outset, the Chairperson should know how serious we are on this issue because it affects landless people. That is the only point I wanted to raise. view
  • 4 Jun 2014 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I just wanted to make that correction; that Gen. Mulinge is still alive and he is doing very well. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor, Senate. view
  • 4 Jun 2014 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I will be very brief. From the outset, this land was for the poor and landless people. The Chairman says that the only way to revoke these title deeds is to go through a court of law. The Government has got the machinery to do that. • 4 Jun 2014 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I am just touching on what the Chairman said; that it is only through the court process that the matter can be resolved. But who should take the matter to court? If it is not the Government, then some of us are ready to take the matter to court on behalf of the poor wananchi, who deserve to be given this land. • 4 Jun 2014 in Senate: Bw. Naibu Spika, leo tumezungumza sana. Leo nasimama kuunga mkono Mswada wa Boni Khalwale. Viongozi ambao wanaongoza watu huwa wanawapeleka watu wao mahali wanapofaa kupelekwa. Watu hawafai kuwaambia viongozi vile wanavyotaka kufanya. Mambo yakiwa hivyo, watu wataanza kuuza chang’aa. view
  • 4 Jun 2014 in Senate: Bw. Naibu Spika, nimesema viongozi wanafaa kuongoza watu wakiwaelekeza mahali wanapofaa kuenda. Sijasema eti hawafai kuwauliza. Bw. Naibu Spika, hivi karibuni, tulikuwa pamoja kule Berlin. Nchi ya Ujerumani iko ... view
  • 23 May 2014 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I think the Senate Leader of Majority is out of order because what is being raised are issues that concern the people he represents here. The same thieves who were paid Kshs1.4 billion are now asking for Kshs3.1 billion. So, what is being said here is that those who have given those instructions, whether they live in heaven, in the sky or inside the water, they must face the law and the law is the Constitution. Is he in order to protect an individual who is a Kenyan who is supposed to ... view
