• 15 Dec 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for the sake of the debate on the Motion to continue, I apologize and withdraw the remark “rejected”. The last point which is paragraph 20, the Chairman says that the Committee recommends that the Executive submits fresh names for consideration and approval to the EACC based on experience. No one in this country has ever served successfully in terms of containing corruption. So, there is one who commands experience at all from those who served and those to be nominated. view

Maofisa hawa wangeweza kujulisha Serikali juu ya uvamizi wa shamba hili. Kama wangefanya hivyo, basi wananchi wengi hawangejipata matatani ya kununua shamba bandia. Mimi mwenyewe nimepinga mara nyingi njama za unyakuzi wa mashamba ya Serikali. Jambo hili nilijadiliana na Waziri wa Ardhi. Nilimweleza vile watu fulani walijaribu kunihonga ili nikubali wavamie shamba la Serikali la ekari 1,600. Walijaribu kunihonga na zaidi ya Kshs50 milioni na ahadi ya ekari 300 ikiwa ningewakubali wanyakue zaidi ya ekari 1,600; mali ya umma.
