  • 7 Aug 2019 in National Assembly: I hope that mine has not started counting yet because they are interrupting me. We are in support of this so much. We are in support of early screening of cancer. I have seen doctors going with some gadgets. Some international standard gadgets for screening of cervical cancer and breast cancer are coming to Kenya. I hope the Government will monitor the gadgets that are coming in. They are saying that they can move around with them so that you can be tested on the spot anywhere. Then we will also have a lot of fake testing and fake The ... view

  • 7 Aug 2019 in National Assembly: screening. Therefore, we should have a process of making sure that the gadgets that are coming in are well checked so that they do not give false alarms and false reports. However, I am in support that we should have early screening for cancer. We should teach our children to have hygiene. We should also be against early sex and also sex everywhere because the HPV virus is transmitted through sex. We should also teach our children that when they have sex, they should have safe sex. I support Hon. Lilian Gogo when she said that we should have sex ... view

  • 25 Jul 2019 in National Assembly: I am sorry, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. You know sometimes men are colour-blind and also do not notice right and left. It was not intentional. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. view
  • 3 Jul 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I support the other Members. The Clerk should be answerable to the Commission. The Commission should have an easier way of removing the Clerk when need be although we should not use that avenue to bring in our people in a funny way. We should have the most competent people in the country to get those positions, but the position of the Clerk should not be so secured like a chief magistrate or the Maraga position. We should find a way of having a line in between. We should have an easier way of ... view

  • 20 Jun 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for noticing that I really want to contribute to this Bill. From the outset, I support the Bill, and just like those who have raised many concerns about our country and about the nuclear energy, I also have my concerns. Yes, we know the value of nuclear energy, but sometimes I feel like we are planning too far. We know nuclear energy is cheap. We also know nuclear energy is efficient. We know we can have a lot of power for industrialization and we will have enough for our hospitals. We know that we ... view
  • 20 Jun 2019 in National Assembly: Again, I look at where the Bill is to be anchored. We are talking about energy. We need a comparative analysis. We have wind energy, geothermal, water and even diesel energy. So, we need a comparative analysis, but why place it under the Ministry of Interior and Co-ordination of National Government? We need to place it purely under the Ministry of Energy until when we feel that Kenya can create a threat to Uganda that we may create nuclear weapons. At that time, we may think of shifting it to the Ministry of Interior and Co-ordination of National Government. I ... view
  • 20 Jun 2019 in National Assembly: power.” I am wondering whether we are passing this Bill for the next 30 years when we will be thinking about fighting Uganda or trying to colonise East Africa or whether we are passing this Bill for our usage in terms of having more power to grow our economy. view
