Therefore, once we have proper leadership and management of these resources, they will be our important source of revenue. They also create the possibility that the Cabinet Secretary (CS) and the bodies created in this particular Bill to co- ordinate the exploitation of the mineral resources--- This will also stimulate mapping out of the whole country, so that we discover where minerals are. It has been known for long that these Bills should be passed by 27th August but they have been brought here rather late. Since some people are sleeping on their jobs, we need to extend the time. It is high time people took responsibility for not doing what they are supposed to do. If somebody did his job well, they should have forwarded these Bills earlier.
