27 Mar 2018 in National Assembly:
Hon. Deputy Speaker, when the Government is budgeting to buy maize, it does not have the data of how many farmers planted this year and what they anticipate in terms of production. So, when we develop such data, it will help the Government to prepare. We need a quick solution now. I urge the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to release the money for the pending payment of farmers who supply maize. Two, we also need to provide fertiliser to farmers urgently because this is the planting season. We have no time to enhance production and food capacity in ...

14 Mar 2018 in National Assembly:
Ni mimi ambaye alizindua ndoto hii ambayo imetimia. Punde tu baada ya uchaguzi, nilisema hadharani kwamba itakuwa muhimu Rais Uhuru Kenyatta, ambaye alikuwa ameshinda uchaguzi, na Mhe. Raila Odinga, ambaye alikuwa hakupoteza bali mambo yalikuwa yamemwendea mrama, kushirikiana. Nilisema kitumbua cha Mhe. Raila kilikua kimeingia mchanga kidogo, na hivyo basi akae na Rais Uhuru Kenyatta wawaunganishe Wakenya. Mhe. Raila ana sifa zake. Ni lazima tumheshimu. Ni kigogo na uti wa mgongo wa siasa za taifa la Kenya. Hakuna jinsi Rais Uhuru angefanya kazi bila kuungana na Mhe. Raila. Hii inatufunza nini? The President mentioned very well that the sovereign power of this country belongs to ...

Hon. Speaker, I understand the circumstances she is in. She has to please the masters and the goddesses. That is what they have to do. In 2007, people lost property in my constituency. Some lost their lives. This country is not ready for a post-election violence. We are prepared to go for the repeat presidential election. We want to tell our opponents that if they are not ready---

14 Sep 2017 in National Assembly:
Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I want to tell the Opposition that the country is not ready to go back to what happened in 2007. We are ready for election and we are telling the IEBC that they should not be intimidated and scared. They should prepare for election. The National Treasury should release the funds needed. The Supplementary Budget needs to be discussed in this House so that we give them resources to prepare and lay the framework for a free and fair election. Thank you.
