The objective of the Bill is to amend the Industrial Act, Cap.237 to make provisions for the Government and public institutions to offer mandatory industrial attachment to the newly graduated students in all professions who are unable to get employment upon completion of their studies. It requires the Public Service Commission (PSC) to determine the terms and service for persons undertaking the attachment in line with the existing policy framework. • 27 Nov 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, listening very keenly to the Statement by the Minister, it surprises me because we come from the same County. The areas which are affected and registration of voters has not even started are in Trans Nzoia County. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, what measures has the Government put in place to ensure that registration kicks off, for example, in Kitale Campus Station; titled Kimeloi and Kiptenden, where it has not kicked off? This is the county where the Minister comes from. view

Mkuu wa Sheria amezugumzia uhusiano wa Kenya na Tanzania; kwamba ni wa chanda na pete, na kwamba wanashirikiana bega kwa bega, lakini ila ya hayo yote, hajapata kutatua matatizo ya hao Wakenya ambao wako mbaroni. Would I be in order to request that the Assistant Minister goes and comes back with a substantive answer, although I want to give him the benefit of doubt? That is because he is also operating under pressure, now that he is running for a senate seat? I can understand the situation that he is going through. Members want to understand the rationale of those salaries. We do not understand why the chairmen of Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC) and Constitutional Implementation Commission (CIC) could get a basic salary of ... view
