I want to remind the House that it is charged with three cardinal responsibilities. There is representation, legislation and oversight. It is our responsibility to oversee how borrowing is done and how proceeds of the same are used. In moving this Motion, my attention was drawn to the Ken-Ren Chemical and Fertilizers Company Limited. Today, he is saying he strongly believes in the ICC. Is he in order to send conflicting messages to the same House? view

  • 3 Feb 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like the Assistant Minister to confirm to this House how much iron ore deposits are in Homa Bay County, where specifically they are, and whether it is viable for mining because Homa Bay County is up and running? view
  • 2 Feb 2011 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I would like to thank the Assistant Minister and hope that they will ensure that all Kenyans are safe. The uprising we are seeing in Africa is as a result of the youth being frustrated due to unemployment. Now that the Ministry is aware of the cause of those problems outside there, and there is the same potential in our neighbourhood, what have they done to inform our own Government on such dangers and ensure that we are able to create jobs for our youth so that we do not face the same ... view
