  • 12 Nov 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I am supporting. When people do not have salaries, they cannot perform well. When institutions do not have money, this causes a lot of strikes like we used to have in this country. The money is not managed well. If the Board will ensure that the money is used properly, this country will go far. view
  • 23 Oct 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I rise to support this Motion. I also thank hon. Amina Abdalla. Kenyan women suffer so much when in search of water. As the national Government, we need to look into how we are going to help all Kenyans. If you go anywhere in Kenya, there is no water. This is a problem and women are suffering. Young children require clean water, which they are not getting. If we are going to dig dams, we must think of a way of protecting them. Israel is a desert, yet they have a lot of water. ... view
  • 23 Oct 2014 in National Assembly: water-borne diseases. We know that cleanliness is next to godliness. We want our people to be clean. How are we going to help them? • 15 Oct 2014 in National Assembly: We are not opposed to money being given to our men but there is something we would like to understand. The youth being given money are our children. They are children we got with men. When a woman gets money, the entire family benefits because women support everybody in the family. Saying that it is only the youth and the women who are benefiting from these funds would be misleading the country because there are very many youths who are not working. There are some people who have university degrees, but they are not getting any jobs. We know that ... view
  • 10 Sep 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Speaker. First of all, I thank the President of the Republic of Kenya for nominating Majo-Gen. Kameru. I would also like to thank the Committee because it has done a good job of approving Kameru to be the Director- General of the NIS. I know that he is a good person. He is a humble person, who likes to work. I know that he will not disappoint Kenyans because security will be improved. view
  • 10 Sep 2014 in National Assembly: I thank the President because Maj-Gen. Kameru comes from my area. May God bless you. view
  • 28 Aug 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. the Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this Motion for Adjournment. There are some issues which have been raised by hon. Members. When we go home, we are going to meet our people, and also ask the Board of Management of the Constituency Develop Fund (CDF) to release funds, so that hon. Members can get time to oversee implementation of projects under this Fund. There are also a lot of problems regarding security in this country. We know that our Government is trying, but security must start with individuals who are me ... view
