If you go to Kenyatta National Hospital and you visit the orthopaedic ward, you will find that it is overcrowded because of trauma and fractures. And this is attributable to the state of roads. I have seen Members of Parliament who are really desperate. Sometimes they do not even have medical covers and have spent their lifetime savings trying to retain their seats during elections. I represent Dadaab Constituency which is currently hosting refugees and I have a lot of interest in this Bill. From the outset, I fully support the Bill. Our country Kenya has hosted refugees for the last 25 years, if not more. What Kenya has given to the refugees is far greater than what has been given by the international community in terms of shelter, food, land, peace and everything that we have provided.
