Indeed, it is quite timely and right that this amendment came to this House, to ensure that county assemblies get their money in time. Secondly, we also need to ask ourselves: When the money goes to the county assemblies, do we, as the Senate, want to follow up and make sure that it is spent responsibly? Even if I do not refer to the document, the fact is that some county assemblies have asked for more money to spend in the county assemblies while others have asked for less. Others have asked for money that is equivalent to the budgets that they have already provided. view
