Cancer is a killer disease and it should be declared a national disaster like Malaria and other diseases. Cancer, apart from being a killer disease, is very expensive to treat and before one realizes that they suffer from cancer, they suffer a lot simply because we do not have experts, medicine and equipment in place. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise to support the Motion with amendments. It is very unfortunate that in this country sometimes we have double standards. It is clear we passed the Constitution and it has to be followed to the letter. The gender issue has to be considered and recognized. As a Member of the Education Committee, I have no doubt that Mrs. Nzomo is fit for this position. We do recommend that she is very fit for it since she was interviewed. She deserves this position. So, I support.

(a) whether he could provide a list of names of owners of all ranches, indicating the size of land they own in Lamu County; (b) why the Ministry failed to provide grazing corridors for pastoralists when allocating vast portions of land to the ranchers, and; (c) whether he is aware that lack of grazing corridors for pastoralists in the area has caused conflicts between the ranchers and pastoralists which have led to several pastoralists being injured, loss of their livestock and harassment.
