Tukitoka Mombasa hadi Malaba kupitia Nairobi, ni muhimu kitengo husika kushughulikiwa vilivyo ili tusiwe na ufisadi sivyo, tutakosa barabara tunazohitaji. More so, most of the expenses were settled by the Government and the county government and it became a State funeral. It has arisen due to the re-organisation which we felt was necessary. More so, it is when the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) fraternity felt that the analytical skills that some of our Members have, have been missing in the Budget and Appropriations Committee. • 26 May 2016 in National Assembly: Ahsante Mhe. Spika. Ninatumaini sote tumesikia ombi ambalo limetolewa kwa sababu ya mazishi na vile hali ilivyo kwenye familia ya Mheshimiwa Shitanda. Kwa hivyo ni ombi letu kwa Wabunge wenzetu kuwa tukubaliane kuwa viongozi ama vinara wa Bunge wakuandikie barua kwamba kila Mbunge atoe Ksh5,000 ili ziweze kusaidia shughuli za mazishi, na kusaidia kama kuna lolote la kulipia hospitali ili familia ya Mheshimiwa Shitanda iweze kupata afueni.
