Tumeona Serikali ikilaumiana huku na kule. Ninaiomba Kamati hii inayoundwa iangalie kwa undani na iweze kujua ni nani anayeiba mafuta, na ni kwa sababu gani hatuna mafuta ya kutosha. Kamati hii inabuniwa wakati unaofaa, ili tupate kujua chanzo cha matatizo yanayoikumba nchi hii. Kuna mambo mengi yanayotokea katika nchi hii, ambayo hatuelewi. Hatuelezwi. Kuna ufisadi. • 6 Apr 2011 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Environment and Mineral Resources:- (a) whether he could inform the House the quantity of iron ore deposits in Kishushe Location, Wundanyi Constituency; (b) the measures the Government has put in place to ensure value addition to iron ore products for the benefit of the country; and, (c) when the Government will establish a fund for the development of the mining industry in the country as has been done for the tea and coffee sectors. view
• 6 Apr 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, may I take this opportunity to thank the Assistant Minister for the answer but surely, after 40 years of Independence she is telling this House that the Ministry has no idea about the level of iron ore deposits and for that we cannot establish a value addition factory in Kishushe. Could she confirm when that will be done? view

Will she seek funds for the same so that our youths in Taita can benefit? view

Ninaomba nichukue nafasi hii kuiunga mkono Hotuba ya mheshimiwa Rais na kuangazia masuala mawili au matatu ambayo hayakuangaziwa kwenye Hotuba hiyo. Kwanza, nitazungumzia Mpango wa KKV. Kama tunavyojua, mpango huu haujawanufaisha vijana, na tunaiomba Serikali ifikirie njia nyingine tutakayotumia kuwasaidia vijaana wetu. Pili, nitazungumzia suala la ubinafsishaji wa Bandari ya Mombasa. Ninashukuru kwamba Waziri wa Uchukuzi yuko hapa. Tunasema kwamba miundo msingi kwenye bandari hiyo iboreshwe lakini bandari iendelee kuhudumia watu vile ilivyo. Rais hakulizungumzia suala la ubinafsishaji wa Bandari ya Mombasa kwenye Hotuba lakini nimetumwa na watu wa Pwani nije hapa kusema kwamba ... view
