Lawrence Simiyu, whom I knew while I was in school reading about him. Recently, I came to know that he is a relative to my colleague, who is also a Member of the Committee on Energy, Sen. However, we need to reflect as a House. We need to check ourselves so that we also have independence of the House. We have the Judiciary, the Legislature and the Executive. The current office bearers of the Federation have a tendency to go to court to block any attempts for elections to take place. There is a lot of corruption and many cartels there. We need to ensure that the elections take place. The issue highlighted do not affect the FKF alone; Athletics Kenya has similar issues. The office bearers there are people who have been in office forever and do not want to hand over the mantle to the ... view
