I believe that in all our universities, including the University of Nairobi where I did my Masters, the letter can only be admissible if it is accompanied by the graduation booklet from the university. Otherwise, the letter can be done by anybody to purport that it is coming from the university. The booklet with the name of this particular candidate should accompany the letter. view

• 20 Mar 2024 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. There are some light moments this afternoon. So, I want to comment on the road carnages. If you go to a country like Tanzania, our neighbour, people are more disciplined. If the speed limit is 50 kilometers per hour, you will see people observing the set speed limit. If you must stop at the Zebra crossing, people stop. So, I do not know what is happening with our culture. When hon. Michuki was the Cabinet Secretary then and came up with a raft of measures which we all obeyed, speed governors and safety belts ... view

• 20 Mar 2024 in Senate: It is unfortunate that we lost 11 students the other day from my former Kenyatta University. We also lost a student and a driver from Kapsabet Boys. We lost other people in Silibwet. We need to reflect as a country. The National Transport and Safety Authority needs to sit down, come up with policies or revise the same policies and those who flout the rules, let them face the law.
