Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. There are some light moments this afternoon. So, I want to comment on the road carnages. If you go to a country like Tanzania, our neighbour, people are more disciplined. If the speed limit is 50 kilometers per hour, you will see people observing the set speed limit. If you must stop at the Zebra crossing, people stop. So, I do not know what is happening with our culture. When hon. Michuki was the Cabinet Secretary then and came up with a raft of measures which we all obeyed, speed governors and safety belts ...

It is unfortunate that we lost 11 students the other day from my former Kenyatta University. We also lost a student and a driver from Kapsabet Boys. We lost other people in Silibwet. We need to reflect as a country. The National Transport and Safety Authority needs to sit down, come up with policies or revise the same policies and those who flout the rules, let them face the law. I was in Arusha recently and I could see a boda boda rider having a helmet and carrying one passenger. However, here in Kenya, you will see six or seven ...

It is unfortunate that we lost 11 students the other day from my former Kenyatta University. We also lost a student and a driver from Kapsabet Boys. We lost other people in Silibwet.
