22 Sep 2014 in Senate:
We deceive ourselves all the time. We claim we are in the same blah blah and when things happen you find CORD in their meeting passing their own resolutions and TNA with their own, yet when they come here they just pretend to be together. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, time has come – a professor like you, I am following your nyayos, I am soon becoming one. I ask myself: Are we doing the right thing? Is that all there is in the Senate? Unless changes take place - these will be done by us. There is change of human ...

2 Sep 2014 in Senate:
Mr. Chairman, Sir, I think this matter is very important, being the first kind of amendment that we are debating this evening. Because we have debated about the amendment in Second Reading, the whole House agreed, and we have already voted. So, we have already left that issue behind us. Now, the issue here is, if we do not have the amendment on amendment, there will be no need for us to debate anything because there is no amendment on the amendment. 6 Aug 2014 in Senate:

We should also allow members of the public to participate fully according to the Constitution. The original amendment was quite in order as far as I am concerned. I supported the amendment by ...

6 Aug 2014 in Senate:
Mr. Temporary Chairperson, Sir, since I do not see a major difference from what I proposed; it was obtaining participation where you obtain from the public and the public participates. So, that language, if I understand English language properly, is almost the same. I do not see the difference between participation and collecting public views. That is my understanding. So, I do not think we should really spend a lot of time arguing ...
