All the stalled projects are in those areas where the first governors have been voted out. Their predecessors feel that when they are elected, they should come up and run new projects. They think that these projects do not belong to the Government but to the former governors who have been voted out, which is wrong.   • 20 Jun 2019 in Senate: are seeing the vise versa . People living around the project are impoverished and cannot access the river to fetch water for their livestock and for domestic use. Madam Temporary Speaker, when such a mega project is brought to an area, we need to find out how people living nearby will benefit from it. However, the people of Tana River and Kilifi counties are living in a pathetic situation. It is good for the whole country to go and see how that project has impoverished the people who live there.
