  • 5 Jul 2018 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity to support this Statement. First of all, I would like to thank Sen. Seneta for bringing to the House such an important issue. This issue needs to be investigated further because agencies dealing with disasters in this country are giving us conflicting information. • 14 Jun 2018 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I also rise to support this Bill. From the word go, it shows that there has been lack of legal advice in the various counties. In any case, this has led to what we have been observing in our counties, particularly, in the first county governments. I wish to support this Bill because of a number of issues. First, this Bill, whose objective is to set the Office of the County Attorney, provides for the standards and the framework for recruiting qualified staff. I have an imagination that, because of this framework throughout the 47 ... view

  • 13 Jun 2018 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, just allow me to say that we received this Petition as a Committee. We dispensed with it first by inviting the complainant to come before the Committee and during our sitting, the Petitioner was the only one who availed himself. There was nothing in the Petition to indicate that there was impropriety in Murang’a County. Rather, the ... view
