• 7 Nov 2018 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. It is common knowledge and sad to note that counties do not recognize the trade unions. This is contrary to Article 41 of the Constitution which is very clear that everybody has the right to associate him or herself with any trade union of his or her choice. • 7 Nov 2018 in Senate: defending an employee. Quite a number of these leaders are suspended, interdicted or dismissed from work. This is also against the International Labour Organization conventions (ILO). We seriously note that the success or failure of any county in this country lies in the workers on the ground. We have many workers in all the counties working in various departments, for example, drivers, farmers, security officers and hospital attendants. It has now become a tradition that many of the counties do not cloth their employees. For example, mortuary attendants attend to naked bodies without any protective clothing to perform their duties. ... view
• 7 Nov 2018 in Senate: tedious. These days, people are digital. Therefore, it is important for trade unions to be accorded an opportunity to only sign one collective bargaining agreement that will cover all the employees in the 47 counties. view

Wakati Serikali inatafuta bunduki zilizopotea, wanafaa kupeana amnesty kwa walio na bunduki bandia wazirejeshe ili wasamehewe. Watu wengi wanajiunga na vikundi vya ugaidi. Wengi wako hapa Kenya na wengine wako Somalia. Ndio maana wanajeshi wa Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) wako kule Somalia kwa sababu sote hapa tunataka amani ambayo haiwezi kuwepo bila sisi kuwa na majeshi yetu Somalia. • 16 Oct 2018 in Senate: Tuko hapa sote kama Wakenya. Ikiwa nchi hii itaharibika, Wakenya wa tabaka zote wataharibikiwa. Hatuwezi kusema kuwa ugaidi unafanywa na Waislamu ama Wakristo. Vile vile, hatuwezi kusema kuwa unafanywa na watu ambao hawana dini. Ugaidi unahusu kila mtu; awe Mkristo au Mwislamu. Tumeona vijana wetu wa dini za Kikristo na Kiislamu na vile vile wasiokuwa na dini wakijiunga na ugaidi. Tumeshuhudia vijana wetu wa tabaka mbalimbali za Kenya wakijiunga na makundi ya kigaidi niliyotaja hapo awali. Kwa hivyo, Serikali inafaa kuhakikisha kuwa Kifungu hiki cha 12 kinawekwa mwafaka.
